Choices last only on this page.

The optional activity uses preset buttons. It never requests a name, age, contact detail, recipient address, location, personal story or real-life promise. There is no free-text form, account, upload or submission.

Choices are held in the current activity page’s memory only. They are not sent to an activity service or saved in a database, cookie, localStorage or sessionStorage. Resetting, stopping, refreshing or navigating to another page clears the active choices. Your browser may have its own page-restoration behavior; use Reset or Stop to explicitly clear the card before leaving a shared device.

Anyone looking at your screen can see the displayed choices. “Private” means the activity does not submit or retain them, not that the screen or your device is hidden from others.

No score. No streak. No reminders.

This companion implements no analytics events, advertising, tracking cookies, tracking pixels, beacons, AI analysis, promise history or reminders. It does not measure whether your child kept a commitment or notify a recipient. There is no comparison between children or expectation to return.

The no-input version is an ordinary example you can read without making a selection. It has the same value as a customized practice card. Skipping the activity entirely is also a complete choice.

What loads, and where links go.

Like any website, this page needs network requests to deliver its content. Hosting services may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address and technical logs. This notice does not claim that infrastructure processing never occurs.

The homepage’s story-context section shows the publisher’s promotional artwork. On this companion’s dedicated domain, an optimized copy is served with the site. The Base44 preview may load the image from the publisher’s image-delivery service. These ordinary requests can expose technical information such as an IP address to the delivery host; they do not include activity choices.

Links marked “Listen on Sloan’s Bedtime” open the publisher’s episode page in the same tab. That is a different website, with its own access rules, privacy practices and any account or product services it offers. This companion does not control those services or send them your practice card.

You can stop, revise or keep nothing.

Back and route buttons let you reconsider a choice. Reset clears the current card and starts again. Stop clears it and offers a resting point. None of these actions sends an update to anyone.

Download paper activity provides a blank one-page PDF, without your on-screen choices. You control the saved file and any printing from your PDF viewer. A completed paper sheet stays with you and does not disappear when this page resets.

You never have to share why a promise was difficult. Safety, autonomy, help, food, affection and rest do not depend on finishing this activity or keeping any promise.
